The 1st Club meeting has finally happen and my fear of sitting at the lake by myself was for not. Eight Thing's and 14 people showed up at Lake Miramar. I would like to thank everyone for showing up.

It was a beautiful warm day with a nice breeze from the lake. Everyone
seemed to like the setting and its general location. We managed to get all of our cars parked in one group with a view of the lake. The day was mostly spent finding out about each other and our vehicles. Things traveled from as close as a few minutes to as far away as a few hours.

It was nice to get a close up view of so many Things. You can get a lot of good idea's by seeing what others have done to their own cars. Here are some PICTURES of the days events.

Everyone seemed to like the idea of getting together again next month.We discussed such things as a barbecue, a parts swap meet, and a drive around the area. If anyone has any suggestions I would very much like to hear from you.

Other activities include: a complete path around the lake for biking, running, and walking. You can drive about 3/4 of the way around in your car. The lake also offers boat and shore fishing.

I'm suggesting the date of 9/25/99 at 10:00 AM for the next club meeting.

I was thinking something like this for the day:

10 - 12 Swap Meet and General Meeting
12 - 2 Barbecue
2 - 3 Area Drive
